Aphonopelma chalcodes

This is a young Aphonopelma chalcodes ( I believe ) I collected it in the wild.
This is a week after I found her. She put on weight pretty quick. I know they say to wait a week before trying to feed them, but she sure was hungry!

I wouldnt jump to chalcodes with any Aphonopelma sp. Although it its avery nice T. :)

Possibly A. hentzi? I don't know where the tarantula was found and it could well be the lighting, but they look darker to me -- more like my A. hentzi than my A. chalcodes and there are other Aphonopelma that could have similar coloration but with more limited ranges. All wonderful tarantulas! :)

I dug her up in the Tucson area. She looks just like all the other tarantulas I found in the Tucson area. I believe the question is really what subspecies of A. chalcodes she is?
