Adult 0.1 A. chalcodes

I don't care if she's a common tarantula, she's gorgeous and she's one of my favorite. Also one of the few named ones - Vernor.
@Moakmeister Touche, mate. Way to bring things full circle, by the way.

This needs to be your next tarantula. Adult females are cheap! If you like the G. pulchripes, you'll like this.

@EulersK my next tarantula will prob be a genic. There's also a Repticon in July at which I plan to get at least one more T. I don't think I'll be delving into the Aphonopelma genus for awhile, but I can definitely say you're right about them being cheap. Saw a 5 inch female for $65 at the same stand that was selling a GBB for $275.

@Moakmeister Fair enough. If you come across them, Nhandu species are more fun than A. geniculata. Faster growing, better eaters (impressive given the genic's appetite), and same attitude. Better looking to me as well, but that's subjective.

And I have no idea on her age. Bought her as an adult three years ago and she's never molted for me. She's most certainly wild caught, likely not far from here.

@EulersK im probably gonna make some enemies saying this, but I actually find the Nhandus unappealing. They're not as big as the genic, for one thing, and they have this really creepy look on their face. They look like Slenderman.

The only Nhandu that appeals to me in the looks department is the tripepii. The others look unappealing to me. Also, most Ts are not as big as the genic, so holding that against them is a little weird.
