I also have a MM purpurea, but I've been unable so far to prod him out of his webbing for comparison pics- he just gets annoyed and rubs his butt on my tongs trying to hair them. This one is absolutely gorgeous, and quite a big dude as well. No regrets. 😍

They are one of the largest avics....I had 2 that were just about 7"

Agreed about the juruensis M2 being the "Purple One" What I tell shoppers every expo. Some don't listen

Spot on. My purpurea was purple at a specific time of day, at a specific angle, when the planets aligned. :rofl:
