yes there is a lid for it, it is a white lid that seals shut. I think this was made for pasta or cereal or something so its a lid that is pretty much airtight.
I looked it up and they are called Better Homes & Gardens Canister Flip-Tite® Square Food Storage Container and they have multiple sizes, they can definitely be made to use for terrestrials, arboreals, or fossorials with the different configurations!
