@RezonantVoid, yes A. robustus generally has smoother web and H. versuta has triplines that radiate a bit more like the ones in your H. formidabalis photo today. H. versuta often contstructs dual entrances and the spinnerets look more conical than the rod like protuberances in the beauty above. It's good that you still have one.
@Dave1969 also worth mentioning that Atrax sp. have a much flatter carapace when viewed from the side. Still would love to see both species in their natural habitat one day
