B. vagans
I posted pix of the same one in a row last night. DLS is roughly 3 inches. From the vent it looks male to me with that "rough"patch of hair. I didn't see signs of a flap, took a toothpick to the molt to see if the tip could "catch" a lip but was unsuccessful.

In the photo I see some dark spots that look like spermathecae developing.

Sexing by moult is always more accurate than ventral sexing. Some specimens can look 100% male upon ventral examination then have utera/spermathecae developing which seems evident in the exuviae you have posted.

Your specimen is still small at around 6cm DLS. Its just hard to sex with small specimens with unclear photos

I will have a look at your other images. This one is a little blurry. Can you get a clearer photo of this same position?

@KezyGLA I definitely think that this is male. This species matures pretty darn small, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's penultimate at 3". I've had four males of this species, all around that size: 3", 3.5", 3.5", 4". I just molt-sexed a 3.5" female B. vagans, and their spermatheca is quite large.

But I agree, the photo isn't the best. A clearer shot would be nice, because I do see what you're talking about.

@EulersK Yeah I agree with that. They grow like monsters. I just think there is more to it than those 2 small dots. I think can see some sort of flap on the upper
