Avicularia purpurea First Post-Moult Meal - ≈ .5"

Wee spiderling having his first post-moult meal. Hopefully, this little tyke turns out to be male so I can pair him to my adult female. These guys are so incredibly tiny as spiderlings. Adult females top out at about 4" only.

Very cool. So used to just seeing the super bright colored Avic’s, the genus truly runs the gamut when it comes to color schemes
