Arbanitis sp. in the wild

Arbanitis sp. wild burrow
A perfect example of how big the surrounding of a tarantula burrow is. So for those of you who think you need to have a big enclosure for your 3”, 4”, 5” etc think again.
They only need little room, enough room for a water dish and spread their legs when needed.

@Exoskeleton Invertebrates these guys are trapdoors, but that doesn't make anything you say wrong. Even for these guys small round plastic containers are perfect, and I've even got one of mine to lay an eggsack inside. Tarantulas aren't any different

@Exoskeleton Invertebrates yea, Myglamorphs (primitive spiders) which include all your Ts, traps and funnelwebs nearly always burrow. Like you say though, despite this they don't need like a 2m or 6ft deep tank to give em a natural setup. Just "enough for a dish and for them to stretch their legs when needed".
