Which Brachypelma is this?
The first is my female sabulosum and the 2nd is my male...both mature. You can cross them off your list.

I was looking on the American Tarantula Society page. They have a picture that is identical. Sericopelma rubronitens. Said these have been showing up in pets shops in the southeast the last few years. Hmmm. Never heard of it.

That would also explain the extremely calm temperament. And large size. It's about 5.5" now.

You will need to have much more to go on than appearance to ID it.

IDing redrumps from a photo is a no-go

Sericopelma are not usually calm. They are nervous sp. and grow large. 5.5" is adult Brachy size

@KezyGLA That is true that Sericopelma tend to be agressive. However, Brachypelma angustum Was reclassified as S. angustrum and Brachypelma embrithes was reclassified as S. embrithes. Which is what would lend one to think along those lines, because as I have said previously, some are under the notion that Brachypelma should be strictly used for the "Red knees" and would classify the red rumps somewhere else, where the two transfers that have been done so far have been transfers to Sericopelma.
