Infact. Scrap that. It looks more like epicureanum than the others due to mirror patch. Though their setae is usually much lighter. The lighting theough me right off it
I find Brachypelma to be a bit confusing at best anyways, largely because their classification hasn't been quite sellted yet. It's been proposed that the red-rumps should be in a separate genius, reserving Brachypelma to the "Red-knees". So, technically, some people might say that this isn't a Brachypelma at all.
@atraxrobustus yeah that's why I put it up. There is a ton of confusion. I do know it's different than any I have had. The gray is bold compared to others I have had. And under good light I just noticed the carapace is more of a shade of gray than black. Thanks lot though.
@John Hare Now that I think of it, it could be Sericopelma (which have more grey as opposed to blacks) as opposed to a Brachypelma two species of Brachypelmas were moved to Sericopelma recently.
