1.0 Pseudhapalopus sp. Colombia, 3.25" DLS

Freshly-molted, blue-butted...
What a beauty! @NMTs what are they like, temperament-wise?
Mine has been slightly skittish, but not so much that I worry about opening the enclosure or anything. Good eater, but a little slower growing - it's taken just over 2 years for him to grow from a 1/2" sling to slightly over 3". Mine hasn't really burrowed but regularly bulldozes everything from one side of the enclosure then back again. I really like dwarf species, and overall, I'm happy with this little guy!

@NMTs thanks for that, it's always nice to hear experiences of keepers, especially with a slightly more 'unusual' or lesser-kept species.

I wonder how much size it still has to put on? I've seen varying accounts of the growth on this species vis-a-vis others in the genus. What size enclosure is it in?

I have to believe that he's penultimate now, so if he grows much more it should be all legs.

I've had him in a 16oz deli cup for almost a year. After this last molt, he's ready to be upgraded to his permanent enclosure, which is 5"W x 6.5"L x 5"H. That's the enclosure I use for all my terrestrial species that mature at <4" DLS.

Thanks for the info! :) I've added this to my (burgeoning) wishlist!
