I am referring to the fact that the juveniles are brown. When they mature they will become violet and with age get the dark royal purple - or blue - colouration.

Are you refering to the blue as opposed to that purple coloring that juves seem to have? The younger ones are colored too do they chang at the 7 inch mark or so? Maybe this was answered above if so I apologize.

Recieved an adult female Haplopelma schmidti "gold colour form" yesterday :D

So sexy, and from the looks of it, about to moult. She was huge, roughly 16-20cm and incredibly thick legs.
Citadel colors eh? I see two interesting hobbies :)

I really like your H. albostriatum, I've seen a couple recently, and thats is one pretty looking T.

alas i shall never get a Haplopelma, but I like looking at them :)

i bought her at the local petstore very recently. Im guessing she molted a few weeks ago?

for a Hap. , its very surprisingly docile .

yeah that albostriatum is a beauty.dont think ive seen them so dark before

that is beautiful! I had one that color before. does it still show the speed and agression when feeding or is it all around calm for a Haplopelma.?
