I found this on my kitchen floor last night.:? It was so big, I thought it was one of my regalis slings! Anyway, I live in Central California, and this spider apparently can't climb and is crazy fast. Google didn't turn up much. Fangs are vertical if that helps. The only pics I could get are...

O.b.t. The intricate tunnel webs my P. murinis create are amazing! Its like a sewer system or something. Close second are my GBB's.

I'm no expert I would imagine bamboo might be a little slippery for mating and such, but I don't think its toxic to them like cedar could be. I've seen people use pvc pipe for a hide. I think most people like to use material native to the spiders region, or the standard go-to, cork bark. Sorry...

My 2 cents... My H. maculata is on display most of the time, and is definetly gorgeous to look at. P. irminia is a hider, but definetly beautiful their whole lives. Also I like anything Avic. because their so chill. I would love to have a A. minatrix. And someones got 2 MF's for $80 a piece...

I have the same cat!!! My 2 yr old cat "Coal" is the exact same color/build. He's always been lean. Taste of the wild is great food. Usually fat cats eat grocery store brands that are full of fillers, so they have to eat more. In my expierience, dogs and cats with worms can't get enough food...
