does anyone know if i will have issues when this sack hatches? I've never dealt with this type of thing before and if it will be a huge problem I'll just release it.
so that would make this a semi-aquatic spider... I'm not sure If i can deal with keeping this then, especially since it is gravid i'm not sure how the care would look for a bunch of little fishing spids.
A friend of mine does landscaping and knows I have a few Ts so when he saw this spider with a sack he caught it for me. I'm going to nab it from him tomorrow but here is a picture. As of now my friend just has it in a deli cup with a little dirt from the area he found it in at the bottom, what...
firebelly toads
green tree frogs
thats all as far as frogs and toads I know, but some other species should get along well as long as you keep enough space and don't overcrowd.
Brown or Green Anoles
Emperor newts
A rough green snake
I currently keep two green tree frogs, a gray tree...
how many do you think I would need to get initially so that I could feed off about 30 a week? well maybe not 30, but I tend to feed about 30 "small" crickets per week. 25 to the frogs and anole, 3 to the OBT and 2 to the B. Smithi.
I'm getting sick of dealing with crickets all the time and am wondering what a good feeder would be to breed for my pets. Currently the only insectivore pets I have are three small tree frogs (about 1.5-2 inches), a brown anole, a 2 inch B. smithi, and a 2 inch OBT.
I have an extra ten...

i see you live in springfield ohio. don't be like the idiot who lives near me in michigan and kept a pair in his garage that froze to death one winter. they get big so i hope you have a very large (bedroom size +) enclosure for it. Expect to spend quite a bit of money feeding.
alright that sounds fun. how do you get it so the substrate stays in place and make it so you are able to open the screen for feedings?
it is two greens and a grey in there.
