hmph, 1:30am and i have an exam tomorow and i just got woken up by my regalis! I have kept my regalis and red rump side by side for months upon months now, and i recently moved my rump into a bigger house, and moved my regalis into the red rumps old house after cleaning it today...

Bah, i guess so, his new front legs look way to long though! looks a bit goofy, some of his feet are closed, some are open, hes all a bit wacked out at the moment. Guess i gotta wait for a bit to see how it turns out. I checked his shed and it looks fine, everybit came off.

My P. Regalis molted last night, and it just walked about to stretch its legs. However it appears as though its front two are not functioning, they are straight and intact it appears, just not bending whilst he moves. Its about 5" total span now. He just went and sat down in a corner...

That was his dinner for the evening :D House spiders over here dont fight so there is no danger to the T! I couldnt comment on the exact species because i dont know enough but it was sold to me as a Vagans!

It might not be eating it just 'hugging' it, which they also commonly do if im not mistaken, mine do and then take it out of their homes in due time for me to pick up {D

oh my!! Just noticed my regalis was doing the cutest thing! he is tidely putting his food wastage into little balls and putting them in the same place in the opposite corner of the tank! such a tidy T! I only just realised what they were when there were 3 little neat balls side by side {D

Everyone seems to refer to the happy dance alot, so im taking a guess here but is it when they catch their food and then rotate stickin there legs in the air an pattin their butts on the ground!? {D My regalis sling does it every time but i havnt seen my vagans do it :(

i figured that if he eats then hes hungry!

that said, i know that t's as any other pets require varied diets and he does eat average sized crickets every day so dont go thinkin that i only feed him pinkies!

i think pinkies are a great food source, they will last a long time in the freezer, i buy 10 at a time, and feed my 3" vagans 1 every 2 days, he/she prefers them over crix. Just pop them outside his lair and there gone within 5 mins! :D crickets will be wandering the tank until i remove them.

my vagans is doin some odd stuff, keeps diggin holes, just big enuff to stick his front legs and head inside then just sits there for ages looking like an ostrich! :D

my 2" regalis sling, he molted 2 days ago and he appears to be out on the prowl for food most of the time, his fangs are the black/red colour and his abdomen needs fattening up! is he ready to be fed or what? thanks!

sorry to dissapoint you but my vagans hasnt turned into an arboreal. just wondering if anyone has experienced them doing such, or climbing a couple inches up glass? Just asking caus the lid for me new tank has nothing holding it, and its a flimsy plastic thing, although its a good 5-6 inches...

Ccrazy little thing, it does sound like a little home base, he seems to have abandoned his higher web spot! Its alot easier for him to catch stuff down there though, he ate 2 crix away no problems, leaping out of his lair and almost jumping to catch one that was ambling on the edge of a leaf...

Sounds like the way arboreal species walk, well, pokies anyhow! as if they are constantly looking out for higher objects or things to climb up in a tree!

Right, hes made an even bigger cave now and i think hes hiding in it with the front of his legs sticking out, looks like hes guna ambush something, i havnt fed him since hes been down there due to him getting a huge treat yesterday plus i dont know if hes molting or what?? Has anyone had...
