My spiders just adore Zophobas worms. What goes for roaches, I use Blatta Lateralis, all of my spiders love them. They are fast as the crickets, They don't smell, they don't climb, don't fly and most importaintly-they won't dig themselves into the substrate. Highly recomended! But be careful to take them out whenspider is molting.
We use them for some of our bigger, more ravenous Ts (ie Pamphobeteus, Phormictopus, Acanthoscurria). Sometimes, and we noticed this last night when we tried to give some of our pokies some zophobas, that they'll freak out the T and then even if you try a cricket afterwards, the T won't want anything to do with it. Keep in mind these aren't full grown pokie (the biggest one being a 4" P. pederseni), but it seems that the big terrestrial NWs respond better to them.
