Hi everyone,
I’d like to introduce a beautiful millipede from Indonesia, known as the "Zebra Millipede" due to its striking black-and-white bands.
Origin: Found in the forests of Java, Indonesia.
Size: Can grow up to 17 cm in length.
Behavior: Slow-moving, peaceful, and most active at night.
Habitat: Prefers damp environments with plenty of decaying leaves and moss.
Diet: Feeds on decaying organic matter.
I’m currently observing this species and learning more about its care in captivity. If anyone has experience with tropical millipedes or would like to chat about Southeast Asian invertebrates, feel free to reach out!
Thanks for reading!
