I have some friends who breed Leachies. I always get a kick out of seeing a HUGE CHUBBY baby right after hatching. I just don't like their proportions and tails much.

How much do their babies go for?

Here is Sarah's site: http://lunargecko.net/

And here is Terry's store's site: http://www.reptopiabend.com/Home.php

I don't know what Sarah asks for them - she varies her price for each individual. Terry asks $650 at her store, but she makes a deal for friends.
Thanks for the link. Tokays are awesome but I've been biting at the bits for years to get a Grand Terre dark form male. They've got a large juvy on Kingsnake.com for 1200 and some change. While probably well worth it, I still have a little bit of a hard time stomaching those prices. Cheers, T

Btw, Hayden, That's a VERY nice-looking indiv in the photos!! How big is it?

My favorites are the Satanic leaf tails, Uroplatus phantasticus! They're SO COOOOOOL!!!
Damn, you stole my thunder.

I really like everything in the genus Uroplatus, but I also like the geckos in genus Goniurosaurus and the harder to find species of Paroedura, such as Paroedura bastardi, Paroedura masobe, and Paroedura stumpfi.

We currently have a crested gecko, and she's quite a cool pet. My 6 year old son with asperger's absolutely LOVES holding her, and he really opens up with her in hand. he'll help me out with mixing repashy and getting lateralis roaches, and goes into a giggling fit watching her eat (then again he's the same way watching the bearded dragon munch carrots or greens for some reason, HAHA)

He's fascinated with geckos now because of her, and keeps researching, surfing the web, and reading up on all the different types of geckos. Now he wants a pet gecko of his own. He keeps asking for a leopard gecko, lol... but we have a crested gecko and a bearded dragon already (and a million arachnids, and about a dozen or so snakes. but the beardie and crestie are more like family pets than personal collections or projects), not to mention our three prairie dogs and their giant 6 foot by 6 foot cage. I think it's more like he wants to pick a pet out of his own to feed and care for, something he chose himself. Ah well, Repticon Baltimore is coming up in another month or so, we'll see what happens then. The kid is extremely intelligent, I'm just not sure how much his interest will hold with a long lived pet (then again I'd be caring for it mostly of course).

How about... any ones that don't poop all over the house! (I sometimes feel like Hercules and the Augean stables.)

Mt Koghis patternless dark morph male. 10 months old in the pics.

Even though I don't have one, I like the Tokays the most. The colors are really nice, and the noises are awesome

I thought you guys might appreciate this. My 6 year old's been extremely interested in geckos lately, and today in his Kindergarten class he wrote this paper:

He keeps asking about Halmahara geckos and cresteds (we have one crestie), leopards, leachies, tokays, leaf tails, etc. and looking them up. I'm sure his kindergarten teacher has no idea what he's talking about as he goes on and on about geckos, haha!
