Yeah I wanted the 2” seemani but last one I got there got sick and died and was male . Then again this one could be healthier but never know. I searched online any shops with possible Ts were too far away . Probably best to ..
Every bigger spider I e gotten “indexed” has been males too and u k ow they know when they house them. lol I’m a sucker

It was set up rather poorly I couldn’t say it was 1.5 inch or larger . It was hiding under a log . I may go back and see if it’s still there but I probably shouldn’t.

I saw the ventral side of that curly hair but not the seemani which was hiding .🫣 I don’t know if I could pinch grab it or not or get it to stand on the glass: which could be risky.

The exotic pet store I go to for cork bark and the occasional "insert weird arachnid here". I got my Centruroides margaritatus there and my Thelyphonus manilanus. Adult C marg $70 and T man $60. The thing is the prices are low enough that buying them can be reasonable depending on the species. I typically order from breeders, they have the best prices and quality.

Yeah that’s the thing I know no breeders around here to avoid massive shipping costs . 😥 I’m probably just going to save up and keep looking for a job I can’t get anything good right now . Do you also think that 2” seemani might be another male like last one I bought ?
This is a very shady pet store…🕵️‍♀️
I could probably get them 10x cheaper .

Should I ask the shop if they get Ts under 2”?? I may go back and check today dono I got two days left til parents home.
IMHO, save money now and just order online when you have the cash. Ordering online is way better, better prices and way more choices.

K $50 is a lot for a seemani I’ve seen them $10’online occasionally but shipping is $50 + .. I just wanted to check if it was under 2 inches. It was too hot this week for priority shipping.

I went back and asked thrixopelma cyaneolum was available at .5 for $30 more then the seemani. Another rip off ? Same price as online most sites.

My parents won’t let me order anymore spiders online. I recently lost an lp now I’m deciding if I should go to this shop and see if they got anything I can fill it’s cage with Before they notice.

lol those prices pale in comparison to my local, they had a 1.5” 0.0.1 G. Pulchripes for 169$ and 0.0.1 C. Versicolor 1.5” for 119$

Good thing I live minutes away from Canada's best tarantula dealer
Lucky duck! Everything I order has to come in the mail. Just got a beautiful P. Victori that way though 😎

My local pet shop doesn't sell tarantulas but they do sell tubs of feeder insects that are almost all dying/dead -.- so... actually glad they don't have any other invertebrates.

Mine rarely has anything under 3” that’s why I don’t like buying from them. So far I’ve gotten only 2 healthy Ts and 3 that died within a month of purchase. And one I returned it was so sick.🤒

pet Supplies plus here always has sickly feeders like superworms but there mealworms are a lot cheaper then my next closest shops. Although a lot are often dead.
