They are pretty colorful still as adults, tho. Like all tarantulas I've ever kept, their colors depends on age (instar #) & where they are in their molt cycle. Lighting plays a huge part in their vibrancy in pics as well...

Lovely!

Mine gave me her moult, so I’ve confirmed she is a she!

She‘s also started to show these colours, but she only comes out at night and I can’t get as good a shot.

Funny thing is, the same thought has crossed my mind when I look at my girl sometimes. She has similar orange markings at the end of her legs.
