You wouldnt think it, but pictures can help for people on the internet to ID things.

if you read i wasnt asking about the pictures... i was asking if there is a way that i would be able to tell... through markings or whatnot.. or any other identifying marks... i would like to be able to figure this out... so in the future i wont have this problem

Only if people prefer their panties in a bunch, and I don't even wear those funny looking things. :D

This thread just looks like AB standard to me... Joe will get the hang of getting answers, or at least politeness, out of the community.

See yas this weekend.

*Had to embolden 'their' because it dawned(;)) on me that there are times when it is preferable for panties to be in a bunch.

I figured it was understood that we were just messing around.

As for how to ID, it is a bit difficult to describe HOW to id something with out a picture of said something. The features of a spider are very subjective and pictures really do help both with the ID and the explanation of how to get the ID.

ha, i never can tell with you two... you both have such dry humor at times

short answer, though... you look at eye size and placement to get to family and sometimes genus

after that... you can be looking at various leg measurements, ratios thereof, placement of freakin hairs (setae, actually), shapes and ratios of various other body parts

it is really hard to give a general answer. i am working on something but it is nontrivial to do and will probably take forever =P
