Does anyone know what type this is? I'm guessing genus Lycosidae, but I don't recognize the species. My friend finds them once in a while and asked me if I knew what it was. Any ideas?
Here's the picture she sent.

Just for the sake of clarification for others who read this thread, Lycosidae is a family, not a genus.

Probably came with some crickets :)

Should be Thanatus vulgaris based on markings. The Thanatus genus doesn't have to much morphological overlap (except a large group of very similar looking grey species), which makes photo IDs much easier. The carapace patterns are distinct to T. vulgaris IIRC* (white marginal band around carapace with broad opaque stripe.)
