Just picked up this tiny little one (about 2cm) and it is such a cutie! Already homed and settling in :kiss:

I just got two of these guys! They are definitely cute!

I believe also they go by A. juruensis M2 now?

These Avic reclassifications have me even more confused on their names than before. I think i'm just gonna throw a dart at a board and go with whatever it lands on. :troll::rofl:

'Grats on the pickup, @Katiekooleyes ! Avic slings are cute as a button. Really hope you guys will post some photos to the galleries as they grow, would love to see more of them as they color up!

That works for me :rofl: I have Avics. My Caribena is an Avic. THEY ARE ALL AVICS. That's where I'm at with it :rofl:

Avicularia juruensis M2 is the most up to date label. There are two morphotypes of this species. M2 is what was previously known as Peru purple and urticans. M1 was aurantiaca.

Morphotype. Kinda like a locality. But not.

If you really want to be specific, you can go: genus, species, morphotype, locality.
Different localities in avicularia can have different appearances. Some only slightly.
