leaf bug! nice find. nom nom nom. eat the head and into the body then dropped it. taking a break or will they skip the leaf part?

We found the mantids in question in an evergreen bush infront of the house. So, maybe in a bush or flowerbed, would be good, since mantids feed on all of the critters that would be eating the flowers.

The babies are amazingly tiny, and as I recall there were hundreds of them. You'll want to be well prepared to provide misting for them. I'm not sure what the best feeders would be for them.. diced up mealworms, or pinhead crickets with the heads smashed, maybe?
i actually bred mantids before, freshly hatched i gave them flightless fruitflies
