So recently I have noticing more and more that my Avic has been hanging around the bottom for some time. Is there a reason why? unnamed (1).jpg

They sometimes do this if stressed.
Or dehydrated, or because they're about to molt, or weird spider reasons.
How long has it been in that enclosure? Is it eating?
Do you have other pictures of the enclosure?

I changed the enclosure a couple days ago to something smaller (originally a 12 x 12 x 18 inch that was replaced by an 8.75 by 8.5 by 11.75 inch) so it would be less stressed, and to also make feeding easier. And yes I know that there is wire mesh at the top, so far it hasn't managed to get stuck while walking on it, but when it does, I have spare plexi-glass that I can use. Yes it has been eating, I fed it today and the day I got the enclosure. unnamed (2).jpg

This is most likely stress.
Don't wait for it to happen. Ditch the screen or cover it.
Cross ventilation is ideal but if this is "the" enclosure, put plenty of holes in the plexi and have a fan in the room. Don't point the fan at the enclosure!

Thank you. Lets say I wanted to add cross ventilation, do you have any tips for making holes in glass?
