Agreed - beautiful specimen in the picture, I wish they were all as stunning as the one in the photo, @cold blood is this your B. albiceps, if so where did you purchase her from, she's a beauty.
where it was purchased isnt really relevant....they all look the same...lol....but if i recall, i think it was from jrs inverts. I got it as a tiny sling years ago.

I was only asking, as she's such a beautiful specimen and would like to get from the same dealer/breeder as yourself, so it's not irrelevant! [EDITED]

Yes sorry for the misinterpretation, it sounded quite off, but obviously you didn't mean it to sound that way, no worries mate.
yeah its just been so long since it was bought that the vendor would have been long since sold out.

Most likely, I was so enamoured by the look of your specimen, I would have liked one from the same breeder, thanks for getting back to me, I'll certainly look into the breeder to see if he has any
B. albiceps, probably far too late to get the same blood line but you never know....no chance! Haha.

Mine looked pretty ugly until the most recent molt. Got her at .5" for like $40. Such a slow grower....
Grab one asap so they can hurry up and not grow.

@mconnachan I'm positive you'll struggle to get a B albiceps from the same dealer as @cold blood for the simple reason you're over here in the uk and the dealer is in the states.

They're available in the uk if you look around though, I've had a sling quite a while

Thanks for clearing that up Johnny, I thought that to myself, after the fact of course, I'm still on the lookout for a few different sp. at this point.

If you wanna give money to tss (I'm not sure how you feel about them) they have albiceps slings @£8 I think they're 1cm so expect it to be 1.1cm in aout 4 months

Fear Not has them now...and they're listed as "rarely offered"...I was comparing prices and didn't see them listed from most sellers I was looking up. I wound up ordering two :)
Not a whole lot of info about them though! Other than they're like "pet rock" T's..which is what I'm looking for. I'm a new keeper lol

Stormy, it will be the slowest growing, worst eating sling you will ever have. Once they gain some size and start showing colors, they do become very good eaters, and growth can actually pick up.....but that is years off.

Mine, as slings, would routinely refuse food for 4-6 months at a crack.

Glaciers grow faster and eat more reliably.
