I have never kept any arboreal Ornithoctoninae so I'm going basically by looks. Stripes are nice, but I find the subtlety of the Ornithoctoninae much more appealing. Besides, they also have a bulk to them which makes their size more impressive than the Poecilotheriinae even if they have similar legspans. Seeing video footage of both groups in their natural habitats, I just find something more special about the arboreal Ornithoctoninae than the Poecilotheriinae. There is no logic to it, just a visual preference. Are they more interesting than Pokies? What is it about the south-east Asian ones? I guess India and Sri Lanka are considered South Asia. What's the most interesting south-east Asian species?
