Very happy to see that I'm not the only one with a love for terrestrials :pompous:

You are N°1 Lady and one day, I'm sure, you will have that cute, lovely, exquisite, and last but not least innocent like Huckleberry Finn 'OBT'
Someday :D And as soon as I bring that angry little orange ball of fluff home I will take cute pictures of it trying to give hugs and I will tag you in them

3.5.0 Poecilotheria Metallica
0.0.2 Chilobrachys sp electric blue
0.0.2 Chilobrachys sp Vietnam blue
0.0.4 Pterinopelma sazimai
0.0.2 Megaphobema robustum

My intent was only to collect P.metallicas and electric blues purely because of aesthetics, but then I ran across petcenter's buy one get one free sale and picked up the last 3 species on my list lol.

Being new to the hobby, I currently only own three species. For my first T I got a darling little Euathlus sp Red female that I completely adore. She's gentle, patient and beautiful, and just everything I could want in a beginner T. After I got her I got bitten by "the bug" big time and had to have more. Not long after I got my first T I found myself with three Oligoxystre diamantinensis slings and a Acanthoscurria Geniculata sling, which was a freebie. That is one tarantula that can really eat! The O.diamantinensis eat well too, except for the smallest one. I haven't been able to get it to eat at all. I'm a bit concerned about it.

Anyway, I also ordered a young G.Pulchra female, but she came DOA. To say I was devastated would be an understatement. :( One of the main reason I got into the hobby was so I could have one of these gorgeous tarantulas. I've been heartbroken for weeks, it's been ridiculous :sorry:

Happier note now! It's been great to see all the amazing tarantulas that everyone has collected, thank you all for sharing. I've had fun reading through this post! :)

Lottery winners are unlucky next to you!!:astonished::astonished:

I so very wish you were in the US...geez, you'd need to block your profile and messages as you might get accosted for those slings! Can I have a few if I move to Germany? Will you teach me German, it will be worth it for a few slings.

Nothing but envy from me buddy, old pal.

LOL! Yeah, I know I was EXTREMELY lucky. Everyone said it would be just a dud, and when it turned out it wasn't I was a bit overwhelmed because I hadn't planned on having babies... I gave most of them away for very little money and traded 20 more for the female P. sazimai. Come on over, you can have a few, no problem :)
