As long as you prepared for psalmo speed. Maybe not tappi fast, but they can certainly appear to teleport instead of walking anywhere. My P cam was out a bit so I could enjoy seeing him (yeah, him :( hooked out and RB) but it sure made rehousings, um, interesting and thrilling. lol

Arguably a good starter T for speedies.

(edited: I forgot to vote -- from that list -- avic would be my first choice)

Yes, that's true of that species. A. laeta is even worse, and not pretty as an adult IMO.
So how does urticans rate on the docile/defensive/skittish ratings? I don't own any laeta, purpurea, or urticans.

Thanks for all the feedback.
Turns out he already sold every single diversipes and irminia. Since I didn't want to go home alone I bought a tiny A. metallica sling.
I'll read up on the P. cambridgei you recommended @cold blood. He currently sells an adult but I'll propably wait for slings to arrive.
btw my parahybana suprised me upside down this morning. Almost took her 8 hours to molt.

Yeah I thought so, too. Any advice on humidity? I achieve temperature through light bulbs since Germany is freezing cold during winter. That however makes droplets on the side of the enclosure evaporate very quickly. should the substrate be damp in your opinion? Don't wanna over do because I heard if kept too humid they develop fungus in their book lungs

You won't be disappointed with A. metallica. I think they are a better choice than diversipes, but none of the Avics are actually a bad choice.

Good to know you guys have got my back. Already tweaked some things like offering a water bowl. I'll go for a walk through the city tomorrow so I can look for a temporary enclosure that allows for more cross ventilation (can't drill holes so I'll have to find sth made from thin plastic and use scissors or a knife)

Enjoy your evening, or whatever time it is where you are :)

You don't have to use scissors or a knife, you'll hurt yourself! Get a nail, heat it up while holding it with something that doesn't conduct heat, get it to glow red, and melt te holes in the plastic. Far easier and quicker than other options. Be sure to do this in a well ventilated area though.

Edit: Just now seen your location, there is a German member here on the boards who knows a lot and has loads of experience. He also has a youtube channel. His name is @Storm76 , his youtube channel is sturmy76. :)

Don't take the words of people making vids unless directed there by an experienced keeper, there are very few vids that aren't terrible. Videos in general are a terrible place to learn from as a new keeper, because there is absolutely no way to know if the info is any good if you are new. Not saying the one you saw was necessarily bad, just be wary of the info or any info offered in a situation where you can't discuss things with the person.

Or better yet, just get a $10 soldering iron and use it to poke vent holes to your heart's content. I'll never go back to the blowtorch + nail setup.

The tip of my soldering iron makes the holes too big for a slings enclosure. I'm sure there are other tips, but not for the device i use (cheap walmart kind of store brand)

I got mine from Wally World as well and it works just fine for enclosures of all sizes. I just don't have to poke as far down to make the smaller holes, like in this enclosure for my 1/2" A. sp. amazonica sling:

I got a soldering iron with some small tips for a decent price on Amazon. But I still found them to be a bit too big for my smallest slings so I ended up using a thumbtack to make the holes and one of those bamboo skewers to widen them a bit. IIRC it was @Trenor who gave me that idea a while back.
