I would have to say mine is the Goblin Shark. It's appearance is amazing.

No extinct species.

Carcharodon megalodon.

Im not sure if this is right, but isnt that an extinct shark that lived millions of years ago, I seem to recall the name Magalodon.

Mine would have to be the obvious Great White or Tiger Sharks.

Novak you are correct. And my favorite would have to be the tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier)...even though I would never want to run into one in the water.

Yes, they are extinct thank God. Missed the no extinct species rule. Next best thing would be Carcharodon carcharias.

White Tipped Reef Sharks. I've always liked their quintessential shark shape and gracefulness in the water.

It is a toss up for me. Makos are swift and cool, Great Whites are huge and cool, and Hammerheads - well how could anyone not love that head?

I also like the Oceanic White Tip, its cool how they just cruise the open sea, and i heard they are the number one shark that heads to shipwrecks which is creepy and cool at the same time.

yea bull sharks are cool too. the most dangerous shark around. Imagine getting attacked in a river by an 8 foot shark!

One of my lifelong dreams is to go cage diving with great whites.

So I'll have to say great whites, although I'd love to get plenty of
experience around many other species as well.

the elusive landshark!

no, just kidding. it's Somniosus microcephalus, the Greenland shark. why? because it is blind due to a symbiotic copepod that acts as a fishing lure.

Goblin Shark. Absolutely, hands down, my number one favorite. It's unbelievable that nature could make something that looks like that.

I have no idea how to decide so I guess my list grows a little longer ;)

Basking shark - a torpedo with a jet engine mounted up front - just looks outlandish eventhough ofcourse nothing much is going on with that species.

Whale shark - just awsome and beautiful

GW - sure impressive!

... and I like "Fast as a shark" by Accept :}

Scary!
