Yes it does. We see it all the time when someone who read the post on petcos website and maybe some other random pet planet or something reads their "care sheets" and then a month later their spider is in a death curl.Damn the info on the internet really sucks then. Alright, I'll look into other species and make more research on this forum.
I mostly agree that Theraphosa should be left to the more experienced. But if you do your homework...I'm sure you could manage with one. You have all the info you need here on AB, take some time and read through it.Damn the info on the internet really sucks then. Alright, I'll look into other species and make more research on this forum.
When I only had three Ts I just went to local pet shop on the way home from work once a week or every other week. It took 5-10 minutes out of a week. That's not what you said at all you suggested I was getting grumpy. Facts not emotion. You don't gut load then? Never lost a crick and had to catch it? Don't know about your local pet shop but mine doesn't sell single servings? What about when it goes into pre molt? Gonna leave all those cricks running around in there? Compromise on care isn't the best way to start going about things, im Politely suggesting op doesn't sound as though they are ready to keep animals just yet
This is the only thing that has stopped me from breeding them. The noise. Holy crap I tried once and never again.Same here, all I see is "they stink and die in droves for no reason at all", never had that problem, my only problems with them were that the MMs chirping drove me bloody crazy and that smaller crickets would quickly outgrow my slings which meant I had a surplus of adults.
Oh Lord, almost had a heart attack.@Nyx44It's not only that, my man. Then, after, you have to remove what remains of the prey. Refill and sometimes even (even!) completely take out the water dish for cleaning.
