What type of butterfly?

There is a very small butterfly that visits my milkweed plant each day, it's very brave and I can feed it nectar from a cue-tip.

I'm pretty sure it's a type of Hairstreak, but which one, and is it male or female?

hahaha, look through all those thats from butterflies and moths of N.A.

(i know, i can be not very helpful sometimes, but at least i point in the right direction)

Calycopis maybe??
or even Calycopis cecrops?? but that's a WILD guess...

red-banded as in Calycopis cecrops? i didn't even really look at common names... either way, it's a pretty butterfly:clap: but then again, they aren't too many ugly ones:?
