picky ball

In the future try a hamster, they LOVE them. Has worked for all the picky eaters I have ever met. Good luck.

good to hear it is eating. you cannot ship live rodents so there would have been no way for me to get them to you. they are becoming more common and a quick post on craigslist might help.

but stick with what she is eating now.

What size enclosure is she in? If it's quite large/has glass walls, then she may be feeling insecure. I got my hognose in January and he went off his food for a few weeks on two occasions, eating a couple of times in between, so I moved him into a smaller enclosure, increased the temps of the warm side, left him completely alone for a week (just changed water), then offered food and he ate, no problems. Has not refused a feed since. Also increasing your hot spot as said to 90F may also encourage her to eat, lower temps slows them down a little.
Maybe try just feeding her in the viv as well, rather than getting her out.
