Hi, I live in Virginia and I have been searching for Jumping spiders. I have been trying to find a Regal Jumping spider but no luck, the only ones I've found are all Platycryptus undatus. I need a little help on where to find a Regal. Please? (and what time of year)

Spring and summer. You could still find some, but your chances are rather slim.

Poonjab is right. Now is not a good time. Better wait for next year.

I found my BOLD jumper earlier in spring. I have not seen many since. I am in Canada but similar seasons. I am getting a lot of the Tan jumpers out. I actually quite like them and took one in. They are pretty cute. You can always keep you eyes out and keep a small vial and brush on hand. You never know when opportunity will strike.
