What time do tarantulas come out of their burrows?

Well if any one can help me with this question it will be highly appreciated. I currently own a Selenocosmia Crassipes, Stirlingi, or plumipes also known as the Australian bird-eating tarantula, not sure on exact species .

They generally come out late at night, just after you've gone to bed. They wait to be alone so they can plot against you...

Dont worry your T knows what he/she is doing and thats completely normal. She/he will come out eventually

This is a hard question to answer. Typically, from my experience, 1 or 2 hours after the lights go out, and after there is NO commotion or noticeable movement in the room. You would be surprised how much tarantulas can sense out side of there enclosure.

They are very elusive I have a S. dichormata and he is very secretive but when I do get him to come out he is pissed.

If you get the right tool ~something like a small stick or bamboo kabob skewer~ and gently tickle the area outside the burrow, sometimes you can get somebody to come up outta the hole. They usually don't find fake food very funny though and will just go back downstairs and pout.
