well, now I'm paranoid as well. I went ahead and dismantled my communal vial of 12 spiderlings, and put them in their own separate vials. 2 of them are 'runts' and very tiny compared to the others. But they all seem healthy, and no white stuff.
Galeogirl, what was their last meal?

I've been feeding all of my slings frozen, thawed beef heart for the past few weeks. Now I'm not so sure if it's the food since not all of the slings have been affected (yet).

I've scrubbed down equipment and shelves, destroyed all live feeders except the roach colony, and plan to wash down the heater, heat vent, and walls today to rule out anything in the broader environment.

Thanks for the offer, Holley, but I'm not going to be taking on any new slings for awhile. Too overwhelmed with life in general at the moment, and worried about this thing spreading any further. Maybe we can work something out post-baby.
