I don't have any arboreals, but am using 40 dram vials for some of my tiny terrestrial and fossorial slings. But, not all 40 dram vials are created equal. Mine are ~2" diam x ~3.5" tall. I've also used 20 dram vials for slings less than 0.5". I got mine as T shipping containers or from my job.

I read a lot that many arboreal keepers like the acrylic cubes from hobby stores. They come in a variety of sizes and apparently adapt nicely for Avics and the like. Condiment cups and deli cups come in a few widths and heights, too.

40 dram vials are a great size for most slings, thats all we use as housing for ours here at Ken The Bug Guy. You can buy used ones at our site http://herpinvertsupplies.com/
