No. Reportedly it came from a confirmed P. murinus x P. murinus mating. If I can find the pic and get owner's permission to re-post it, I will.
its the same spider in the Genus Pterinochilus thread i was refering to, i just had no idea the owner had finally confirmed that it wasn't a hybrid but a colourform cross ;)

Well, after seeing that thread, and no other info, I just dunno... Whatever it is, it's beautiful. :) I guess when it molts, species should be able to be confirmed via spermathacae, if it's P. murinus. Right? But then I don't know if anyone has compared spermathacae on P. murinus versus P. murinus hybrids...

For your second T... get a Chaco.
How is this suggestion helpful to the criteria that the op set forth? Here's the post for a reminder.

I have a Rose Hair now, and am looking for my second T. I would like something terrestrial that either likes to web or burrow a lot, or both. If there is one that likes the same temp/humidity range that a Rosie likes, that would be perfect. It doesn't matter how defensive it is, I don't handle my T's. Thanks.

GBB are a great arid, terrestrial species - beautiful, ravenous, copious webbers and I don't know about others' specimens but mine don't hide very often even with one provided.

GBB vs OBT

The GBB's are much more expensive,, but in my opinion they're worth it. They will only increase in value with time and size, and are absolutely gorgeous. The OBT's have different color phases ranging from tan to golden to bright orange to reddish orange. The golden phase is NOT the attracive bright orange that most enthusiasts are used to, and IMO, are not as attractive. I think technically speaking, the USAMBARA is the bright reddish-orange, so OBT's can range in appearance by description.

The OBT is quite aggresive aint it?
If this is his second T, Wouldn't it be better for him to have a more docile T.
I would suggest the GBB like a few others have said, they web a lot and are very beautiful.

IMO I would stay away from OBT if all you've had was a G rosea .
your choice obviously- I haven't found a GBB I want either (for the price) but I like slings .

I already bought one. She's a lot more calm/docile than I expected. She hasn't even shown any treat signals yet.
