if yours looks like that it is LIKELY female, however , i wouldnt try to SELL/TRADE it as female without confirming it, nor would i try to BREED it without knowing..
Im not implying you have desires to do so, just throwin it out there.

I really have no intentions of breeding them right now nor trading or selling her, she just has a little terrarium set up near my computer where I do my graphic design work at home. I'm really big on insects and arachnids and having a tarantula resting here while I do graphic design work is a pleasant site at home.

You seem to know your tarantula facts and I greatly appreciate all the information you've provided me with, it's been of great assistance to someone like me who is a first time tarantula owner. Maybe someday I will get more into the hobby and breed them, but only if I am able to 100% verify the gender of my current tarantula.

well, you potentially have a t thats gonna live a LOOOONG time depending on age now (then again, at that size she could be 15-20 yrs old) glad she entertains you. Hopefully you will get her to do the impossible one day and actually molt. Mine hasnt in the year ive owned her. i thought maybe it was coming, due to her not eating for like 7 months , but once i paired her she started eating like crazy.. hopefully she WILL drop a sack one day soon, rather than later

Hopefully she's long lived, but if she's actually a male, then at least I will have a taste of what it's like to have a tarantula for while. Even though she doesn't move much, she actually stays out in the open most of the time so everyone can see her, which is always cool. I'll admit, I was a bit afraid to handle her at first, as I've heard some bad stories of "psycho rosies" and how they can be extremely emotional. However, she's been very slow moving and docile, but I only handled her to put her in her new terrarium.

I can easily say she's a good fit for me!

i always thought that the people who spoke of mood swings were over acting... NOT the case.
My rosie USED to be the sweetest thing. id scoop her out of the enclosure and handle her for lengthy periods of time.. now that she is gravid im scared of her lol.. if i so much as open the cage she freaks out, threat postures and slaps at tongs or the dirt... I wonder if she will go back to normal after she produces or molts or whatever the future holds. (i really dont think she will molt, but not countin eggs before they hatch lol)

Lol I keep hearing different stories from people, one half says they are the sweetest things ever, the other half says they have experienced psycho rosies.

not really.. at one point i had 30, but ive down sized to nearly half.. all i have now is breeding pairs and a few misc. ts...
i have
a pair of regalis (about to breed once my girl molts)
a pair of ornata (with a MM coming this week for breeding since my male is PU)
a pair of B. albo (with a MM coming since my male is PU)
a gravid rosie
a pair of OBT with the female gravid
a female Lp
a T. cupreus sling
a M. cabolca
and i think thats it for the time being. I got some versi slings coming too, but unsure of how many.. my collection is always changing. I only hold back ones i raise from slings that make the cut, or ones i grow particularly fond of

Finally got some pictures of my tarantula, uploading them in a bit, they were taken with my phone but they have decent quality.
