Anything in the Liphistius genus because of how the armor plating looks and how cool trap door webs are.
I just wish they didn't hide all the time.

Not a species, but a genus.

The Ackaya 😳 that is one special looking tarantula. Sos. Im just getting over the realisation that there is a lasiodorides polycuspulatus. I can’t process all this.

I need to make serious choices. I need more tarantula keeper friends to consult.

I don't think I could pick one favorite but I can say with certainty that Idiothele mira are in my top 10 list for sure. Probably even top 5 list. Absolutely love the fact that I do not even have a pet hole to look at, they add a door so I can't see anything at all lol

Just kidding, sort of. I also love that they're mini baboons with blue feet and pretty easy to breed. The trap doors are really cool too when you catch them in action.

It would probably be easier for me to make a list of Ts that are not my favorites. I like them all but there's quite a few I have no interest in keeping and am happy to just see other people's pics of them!

Currently loving watching P. metallica slightly more just because I wanted so log to finally be ae to care for one!

Avicularia is my runner up. Love arboreal. Just got one after a good 25 year hiatus from the genus

There are a few Phormingochilus species on the list. Some that Lansky has mentioned, but also including the very unique looking species for the whole sub-family not just the Phormingochilus genus... The Phormingochilus Sp Rufus, you don't see many Ornithonoctinae that colour. The Sp Ackaya and Sp Sabah Blue are awesome too and there is Everetti and Arboricola they're worth a look at.

Although it's not the most colourful looking I like my S javanensis for other reasons.

Phormictopus Sp Dominican Purple

Thrixopelma lagunas

Nhandu cerradensis

Psalmopeus emeraldus

Poecilotheria subfusca Highland

There are more they just don't come to mind right now as I'm tired but I'm sure I'll find more favourites that's the beauty of the hobby, some are more favourites for the fact you see them out more rather than just beauty and can watch their behaviour. I find pet holes pretty frustrating I know some people don't mind but I always like to see my Tarantulas out on display. I just want to get a few more.
