I got this tarantula about 2-3 months ago. This was SUPPOSEDLY a Chilobrachys fimbriatus :?
But it molted TWICE, it's now about 1,5'' and I'm sure that it's not that species. It's too hairy, and it hasn't any spot in its abdomen..

If you have/had a similar sling, I would like to know WHAT COULD IT BE. I have no idea, and I have no patient, I can't wait 2 or 3 more molts to know what is it! LOL! :}

Thanks in advance!

Chilobrachys huahini? I thought about that, but I'm not sure even if it could be a Chilobrachys sp...

Maybe...

It looks a little bit like a young B. albopilosum.
This is an uneducated guess, but if you look at photos of Curly Hairs they look close.

No way. My spider is about 1,5 inches (or 4 cm) legspan. It couldn't be a Curly Hair :embarrassed:

Thanks anyways! :D

What ever it is , it's ugly. Step on it.

Kidding... but strangely it looks a bit like
like the tunnel web spider living in a dryer vent
protruding from the back of my house.
It's huge and terrifing due to the fact it
will run high speed out to grab ANYTHING
near its massive tunnel web. I can't get a good
look at it...but seems very similar at a running glance:p

I can't see from the pic angle: does it have the rediculously long spinnerets that a huahini should have? If so i think C huahini is a good bet.
