I’ve been wanting to get a scorpion for a while now and was wondering what the best species were to keep at room temperature (around 75-77 degrees)? Im looking for something smaller that I could keep in a 10 gallon. I was also hoping for something that could be kept communally. I have previous arachnid experience with tarantulas (Im currently only keeping a T. Stirmi) and I just don’t want something that’s super venomous.

Euscorpius spp.
European genus so used to a range of temperatures throughout the year.
They stay small, have weak venom and are somewhat communal, though solitary keeping is preferable in my experience.

Heterometrus will certainly survive at those temperatures, but keep in mind that they are from areas of the world that get considerably warmer than that, especially during the day.
