Centruroides exilicauda I think. Pretty common from around Riverside on east and south into Mexico.

Looks more like a Paruroctonus (possibly silvestrii) to me, as C. exilicauda is a species found in Baja California, and is certainly not common anywhere in California (USA) other than maybe the most extreme south of the state.

Definitely one of the vaejovids, I'd say Paruroctonus as well, though I admit I'm not great at IDing that family.

We don’t have Centruroides here really. They could possibly be found near the boarder with Arizona though.

I saw several that looked like the OP near UCR, Palm Springs and on south to the Salton Sea.

Not Paruroctonus as it has a notch at the anterior portion of the carapace. Looks like it could be a juvenile Paravaejovis puritanus.
