What is a Pandinus imperator's lifespan?

The commonly thrown around age is eight years, but there are people on these forums who say they've had theirs for over fifteen years. My guess is that the eight year stat arose because people buy the emps when they are already adults, thus they have less time left. It's a theory.

Well, considering that they are quite slow growers, uhm... I say 8/10, but depends, however.
