what does a typical scorpion threat display look like?

Pedipalaps out , arched, tail flicking haha.... you'll know...there is not much between threats and actions with scorpions

Some species also stridulate...a few Rhopalurus spp., Parabuthus spp., etc...

Certain species like a lot of tityus will slowly wave their tail around kind of showing you it's there.

You know, come to think of it... My T stigmurus does that when I clean its enclosure.

I have seen my Lqs do this while not even being bothered. They just walk around waving their tail.

John, you have noticed this in the specimens you keep?
I've seen this a lot with tityus species in particular stigmurus. My big female Grosphus ankarana does the same thing, but with a little more attitude.

Stigmurus is the species I most noticed this with.Usually when I lift a piece of bark they were sitting under. They might be just trying to find the roof, but I kind of dought it. I've seen them do this while walking on top of a piece of cork, no roof.
