That's what they were named when I uploaded them. There was a thread on here in which Robc and Travis K posted pictures of their A. seemanni. Someone on another board said that orange spinnerettes do not always equal A. seemanni, that it could be Acanthoscurria borealis, so Rob posted pictures of his T for ID. Then Travis and I did the same.the photos are labeled "borealis" what are they doing in a seemanni thread?
I think the final verdict was that all our Ts are A. seemanni and that the main defining physical difference, since the two species look so much alike, is that a MM A. borealis has one mating hook instead of two... or something like that.
