They burrow - deep, moist substrate, high(ish) humidity.

Like a daily misting type deal?
No.

Fill a ten-gallon with substrate until there's maybe 3-4" of room at the top, then dump half a gallon of water in there.

This is assuming the substrate is dry to begin with. If it's already damp, use less water.

These were WC, i'm assuming.

Do you know from where these were obtained? Maybe a locale?

That could possibly be a start.

I'm not that knowledgeable with Hysterocrates species, but maybe there are some anatomical features that set some species apart from other species? I suppose we should wait for someone more knowledgeable to chime in. :)

I dont really have much info on them. I bought them from an insectarium which is a few hours drive away from here. One of only two insectariums in all of Canada actually.
They dont sell their stock but after contact and asking they told me they had some extras they could sell. Those being the ones I purchased.

Im not sure if they would be wild caught or brought in from some special dealer they would have some system worked out with.

The Insectarium in Montreal was great when I was there last November. :)
