What are scorpions in California?

I'm doing next year, a California trip. We start in San Fransisco and then it'll southward direction of Los Angeles via Las Vegas.

Can someone tell me if and which scorpions are located there?

It's certainly still a year until we go. But it is also difficult to settle what we only book the outbound flight (San Fransico) and the return flight (LA). Where the wind impels us in the meantime we do not know, and we plan not fix. Just a roadtrip is no timetable

by the way: san bernardino but was founded by Swiss citizens, no? San Bernardino in Switzerland is indeed an Alpine pass. I live only about 1 hour away and it was a lot with the army there in the insert.
