Hello all.
My girlfriend's cousin who lives in Rhode Island found this guy in the back yard shed. Is this a T or a super big wolf spider or something? It was described as being "palm sized" so I'm sorry I can't give you a real length.

Definately not a T, but I'm not sure of it's true identity. Looks like it may be a wolfspider, maybe even a huntsman.

True, I've never heard of T's in New England, but it has been super hot out there recently. In the 90's even. Oh well. I'll have them keep an eye out for more so we can get a better look w/ more pics. I'm curious on what it is if it's not a wolf spider either.

I believe you may be referring to carolinensis, not a particularly pleasant bite.

That's a (dead) Dolomedes species with its legs all curled up under it.
