^Juvenile Kochiana brunnipes. Looking lovely since regenerating her pedipalps and first set of legs, and growing like a weed :)

I want to believe I'm getting a little bit better with taking decent pictures LOL. They still look too grainy/blurry to me but I'm also limited to an older smartphone camera 😅 I'd love to invest in a nice DSLR with a macro lens but sadly that's out of the budget right now.

Finished another DIY cage, this time it's an arboreal setup for my A. germani using an acrylic shoebox from Walmart. I like how it's set up but might remove the large leafy fake plant in the bottom right corner of it ends up being too cluttered, but she's a great hunter so I don't expect it to be a problem.

Not sure where all my smaller deli cups went but when I find them she'll have a bigger water dish 😅 she's one of my thirstier Ts.

She's already checking out the new digs; this rehouse was the calmest one I've done with her! Maybe that means she likes it lol

Some really bad photography of one of my Idiothele mira slings after it graced me with it's presence the other night, and a neat little Lycosidae of some kind that I found.

I finally managed to get a whole exuviae from my Dolicothele diamantinensis (instead of shredded bits carefully embedded in the webbing) and... I've got a freshly mature female 😁 I'm super happy about it because I would really like to (in the future) attempt to breed her and a couple of my other Brazilian species in an attempt to help sustain captive populations in the US, but I'm not quite ready to take on that challenge, yet. I still have a lot of learning to do.

I am still flipping between suspected female or suspected male with my Poecilotheria rufilata, as the most recent molt has me questioning if I'm actually seeing what I think I'm seeing... But I ordered a better microscope which should be arriving tomorrow, and I've still got that part of the molt stretched out, so fingers crossed! It would be super cool if it turns out female 😁 I'll be happy with a male, though, too! The reds and oranges are really starting to pop with this most recent molt!

Finally rehoused, and I wanted to give her a nice display enclosure too, so here we are! My female Dolicothele diamantinensis. I was having trouble getting any decent pictures of the enclosure since it wanted to reflect no matter which way I turned it...

The upright sticks are hot glued to the bottom of the cage so they can't wiggle or fall over. I'm hoping she'll take the initiative to make a beautiful castle using the sticks and fake plants!

The substrate slopes from the front-right to the rear-left, it's only about 1 inch deep at the front-right corner. It's 2.5-3 inches on the left side but I may add more substrate later if it seems like she needs more... I need to separate another brick of coco fiber first lol
